World Kidney DAY
April 23
World Kidney Day is a global campaign aimed at raising awareness about the importance of kidney health and reducing the impact of kidney disease.
At Largrier Foundation, this day holds special significance. We serve many patients—especially children and the elderly—who are affected by kidney-related complications but lack access to proper diagnosis and care.
On this day, we organize:
- Free kidney function tests
- Health talks on prevention, hydration, and lifestyle
- Community outreach to underserved areas
- Early intervention programs for at-risk individuals
Why It Matters:
Kidney disease is often silent until it’s advanced. Early detection and care can save lives, prevent dialysis, and reduce long-term health costs—especially for the poor.
Protect your kidneys. Know your risk. Get tested.
