SUMMARY:World Kidney DAY
DESCRIPTION:World Kidney Day is a global campaign aimed at raising awareness about the importance of kidney health and reducing the impact of kidney disease. \nAt Largrier Foundation\, this day holds special significance. We serve many patients—especially children and the elderly—who are affected by kidney-related complications but lack access to proper diagnosis and care. \nOn this day\, we organize: \n\nFree kidney function tests\nHealth talks on prevention\, hydration\, and lifestyle\nCommunity outreach to underserved areas\nEarly intervention programs for at-risk individuals\n\nWhy It Matters:Kidney disease is often silent until it’s advanced. Early detection and care can save lives\, prevent dialysis\, and reduce long-term health costs—especially for the poor. \nProtect your kidneys. Know your risk. Get tested.

SUMMARY:World Hypertension Day
DESCRIPTION:World Hypertension Day is observed every May 17 to raise awareness about the silent killer—high blood pressure. Often unnoticed and untreated\, hypertension leads to serious complications like heart disease\, kidney failure\, and stroke. \nAt Largrier Foundation\, we use this day to reach the underserved with free blood pressure checks\, education\, and early intervention. Many people in low-income communities live with dangerously high blood pressure without knowing it. We aim to change that—one screening at a time. \nOur Commitment on World Hypertension Day: \n\nOrganize free community screening events\nEducate on prevention\, diet\, and lifestyle changes\nRefer high-risk individuals for immediate care\nDistribute printed and digital materials in local languages\n\nEarly detection saves lives. Let’s beat hypertension together.
